吐蕃赞普赤达尔玛的统治及其后的简要历史

朗达玛①继任时②,吐蕃社会的各种矛盾已积重难返,尤其是宗教问题更为突出,它直接威胁到吐蕃政权的根基。因此,朗达玛遣散了僧迦集团,关闭了寺庙,终止了僧侣的寄生生活,但对佛教本身未加限制。由此,招来了杀身之祸,吐蕃政权也随之解体。吐蕃政权解体后,社会上出现了宗教派别纷争的混乱局面,朗达玛的后人益希奥等人担起了整顿与复兴佛教的任务,也就是藏传佛教的后弘期。以早期史书、敦煌文献、伏藏、木简、碑刻铭文为研究依据,从新的视角,历史客观地分析,再现当时吐蕃社会的真实情况。
