摘    要:新建本科院校是中国一个特殊的高校群体,在高校“生源危机”逐渐到来并形成新形态竞争压力下,新建本科院校的发展存在自身难以克服的困难,但又拥有其独特的发展潜力。在中国目前经济社会发展、产业结构升级调整的形势下,新建本科院校应化发展矛盾为动力,提升核心竞争力与招生吸引力,无论是从高校内部治理层面还是国家招生制度改革方面都应有所突破。

Abstract:Newly-built colleges and universities are a special group in China.Under thecompetitive pressureof the“enrollment crisis”, these colleges and universitiest have their own difficulties to overcome.However, they also have unique potentials for growth.With economic development and upgrading and adjustment of industrial structure in Chi-na in recent years, the newly-built colleges and universities should focus on how to turn the disadvantages into advan-tagesand enhance their core competitiveness and enrollment appeal.Breakthrough should be made both inside the uni-versities and in the national enrollment system.
