| 摘 要： | 1999年高校扩招以来，四川省高等教育坚持以科学发展观为指导，不断深化教育改革，办学规模不断扩大，办学形式灵活多样，建立了一支结构较合理的师资队伍，教育质量稳步提升，逐步形成了梯度性层次、多样化形式、适切性科类、区域化布局的完整的高等教育结构体系。跨入了高等教育大众化阶段，为推动四川经济社会发展提供了强有力的人才支撑。然而，四川高等教育也存在着规模总量偏小、结构不尽合理、投入与其他省份相比差距较大以及高等教育体制亟待完善等突出的矛盾和问题。
