摘    要:在构建新冠肺炎疫情认知对就业预期影响理论模型的基础上,利用粤、鄂两地的问卷调研数据,并用工具变量克服内生性问题,实证分析了疫情认知程度对就业预期的影响。研究发现,疫情认知程度、身体健康及经济形势对就业预期具有显著的正向影响,身体健康及经济形势具有显著的中介效应。研究进一步发现,积极的就业规划、工作搜寻次数对就业预期具有显著的正向影响,而所在地风险对就业预期具有显著的负向影响。据此,建议极力恢复经济,加强对劳动者的心理疏导与就业指导,消除地域就业歧视,多渠道扩宽招聘渠道,以促进疫情期间劳动者的正常就业。

Abstract:A theoretical model is constructed to capture the impacts of COVID-19 awareness on employment expectation. Then based on the survey data collected in Guangdong and Hubei Provinces, this study employs instrumental variables to overcome endogenous problems and empirically analyzes the impact of COVID-19 awareness on employment expectations. The results show that the epidemic awareness, physical health and economic situation have a significant positive impact on the employment expectations of workers, while the physical health and economic situation have a significant mediation effect. This study further finds out that active employment planning and the number of job searches has a significant positive impact on the employment expectations of workers while local risks have a significant negative impact. The policy implications of this study are to revive the economy as much as possible, strengthen the psychological counseling and employment guidance, eliminate regional employment discrimination, and broaden the recruitment channels to promote the employment of workers during the epidemic.
