影响构词能力的语言因素探究

构词能力是形态学的重要概念之一。它有强弱之别,有的构词成分能反复运用,构成大量新词;有的只能用来构成少量词汇。即使构词能力极强的构词成分也不能用来构成所有符合该构词规则的词汇。这是因为新词的产生受到一些语言因素和非语言因素的影响,本文分六个方面论述影响构词能力的语言因素,包括音位限制,形态限制,句法限制,语义限制,语用限制以及语言阻断现象。

Linguistic Constraints on Morphological Productivity

Productivity is one of the important morphological concepts, which is a more or less issue.Some word fonuation parts can be used repeatedly to form a large amount of words, while some can only be used to form a small number of words.Even if it is fully productive, there are stil some gaps in its paradigm.This is because productivity is subject to various constraints, both linguistic and nonlinguistic.This paper discusses six linguistic factors influencing productivity, including phonological constraints, morphological constraints, syn- tactic constraints, semantic constraints, pragmatic constraints and blocking.
