翻译的意义建构模式

翻译就是理解或诠释,而理解或诠释的对象是意义。完成对意义的建构是翻译的必要条件。文章把翻译中的意义建构分为两个层面：低阶建构和高阶建构,认为低阶建构无需太多的思维加工,而高阶建构则需要大量智力活动。建构必须依托语言知识、百科知识、情景语境和文化语境才能顺利完成。文章的最后提出了翻译的意义建构模式。

Meaning Construction Model of Translation

Translation means understanding the meaning of language. It is a sufficient and necessary condition for trans ation to complete the construction of meaning. The paper approaches meaning on two levels： low-level meaning construction and high-level construction, holding that the former does not require much reasoning while the latter does. The completion of meaning construction must rely on factors such as linguistic knowledge, encyclopedic knowledge, situational context and cultural context. At the end of the paper a meaning construction model for translation is proposed for examination.
