论北美汉学界中国古代文论研究中的“两种取向”

北美汉学界中国古代文论研究有两种取向:"冲击—回应"说与"中国中心观"。前者认为中国文论的发展进程中一切具有历史意义的变化只能在外来冲击下才能引起,片面夸大外来影响的作用,这实际上是一种"西方中心主义"的思维模式,试图以西方理论来置换中国文论;后者着意强调中西文学思想间的异质与对立,凸显中国文论本身的特殊性,但这又容易滑向文化相对主义,否认中西间的可比性。放弃任何形式的"中心主义",在尊重差异的前体下,充分认识两种文化各自的特质,通过平等对话与交流,实现互识与互补,方可扩大对文论根本性问题的共识。
