道家文化与二十世纪国民性改造思潮

启蒙主义及其文学是把道家文化放在国民性改造的启蒙语境中来理解的 ,并按照启蒙的价值取向和时代要求来阐释道家文化。对待道家文化有三种方式 :选择性认识或误读 ;发掘它与现代文化的会通点并发挥其文化建设潜能 ;批判和否定道家文化。尽管对待道家文化的态度和方式不同 ,但目标却是一致的 :国民性改造和人的现代化。

Taoist Culture and Nationality Remoulding Trend of Thought in the 20th Century

The Enlightenment doctrine and its literature are to understand the Taoist culture in the Enlightenment context of nationality remou lding and to expound it according to the value of Enlightenment and time request . There are three kinds of methods to treat the Taoist culture: the first is to electively cognize or misread it, the second to discover its fusion with modern culture and exert its potential ability of culture development, the last to crit icize completely and negate the Taoist culture. Though the attitude and methods of treating the Taoist culture are different, the same target is of nationality remoulding and person's modernization.
