| 摘 要： | 通过对大量文献资料的研究，证实了中国历史上“重文轻武”的社会观念形成于宋代；探明该观念的形成源于宋代王朝统治者，他们为了维护其政权，消除政权隐患而实施了许多推崇“重文轻武”观念的举措；提出这一观念的社会实质是对人的自然发展的社会否定；指出这种观念是制约我国体育运动发展的社会基本因素．

| Abstract: | By analyzing plenty of literature materials,the social concept of valuing literature while ignoring sports was formed in the Song Dynasty with the purpose to maintain its regime and to eliminate its political crisis. It is pointed out that the nature of this concept is to neglect the natural development of society, and that this concept will restrict the sports development of China. |
