"忠孝不能两全"之哲学辨析

摘    要:忠孝之道是中国传统政治文化的主干。忠和孝都要求自觉地服从和维护权威,所以理论形态上的忠孝之道具有相通之处。在封建社会里,为了专制统治的需要,统治阶级极力倡导“忠孝一体”。但因忠、孝所服务的对象不同,在实践中,忠和孝会不可避免地发生冲突,造成忠孝不能两全。

Abstract:The way of'being loyal to the country and being a dutiful son' is the main part of the traditional politic culture of China. Both the two want man to conscientiously obey and defend the authority, so in theoretical formation they are interlinked. In feudalist society, in order to meet the want of autocracy rule, the ruling class specially advocated 'combining being loyal to the country and being a dutiful son into one body'. But owing to the objects they served were different, in reality it was unavoidable for the two to conflict and resulted in that they could not be carried out at once.
