| Abstract: | This paper puts forth the author's own views on mainstream culture, sub-culture and related issues, including the definitions to the two cultures and their differences. It maintains that the mainstream culture and sub-culture refer respectively to the dominant culture and the cultures of the ethnic minorities and that the main stream culture and the sub-cultures intermingle and should not be separated absolutely. |
