试论苗语量词的虚化与语境关系

长期以来,一般研究苗语的专著都认为,苗语只有名词能够虚化,且虚化后可以表示专门从事某一专业行业方面的人等等。但在日常交际中我们发现,苗语不但名词能够虚化,量词也能够虚化,虚化以后,量词已经不再代表计量单位,其意义由量词修饰的中心词来承担。而苗语中的量词虚化,与语境关系密切,其虚化后既增添了语言的美感,又使语境达到更好的表达效果。

On the Delexicalization of the Miao Numerals and its Relations with Context

It has long been held that only nouns can be delexicalized in the Miao language.This paper argues that numerals can be delexicalized as well in the Miao language,which has much to do with context.
