明清徽商参与地方水利事业初探

明清徽商参与了不少地方水利事业的兴修,无论是出于造福百姓还是为自身利益服务,这些水利工程也的确取得了一定的成效,基本反映了当时全国水利的概貌。对徽商参与地方水利契机的分析,结合主客观原因,试图论证自明末以后,地方民间的社会力量半自觉地参与政府行为的公共事业,具有一定的进步意义。
