现当代汉语他动词的增长及其在香港社会中的表现

现当代汉语他动词用法有日益增加的趋势，其根源在于汉语的语法体系使得汉字具有转类灵活性，其远因是近代汉语受到翻译和欧化的影响，近因则是标语口号以及传媒在某些特定场合（如电视屏幕、报刊标题等）为求用语简洁乃至两行对称工整所致。而受其影响，这种用法在其他场合也屡见不鲜。本文还引述了现当代汉语他动词用法增加趋势在香港双语双方言社会中的表现，并分析了这一趋势其它方面的一些情况。

An ever-increasing tendency of transitive usage of words from other parts of speeches in contemporary Chinese, with remarks on its manifestations in the bilingual and bidialectal society of Hong Kong

Contemporary Chinese witnesses a markad increase in transitive usage of words originated from parts of speech other than transitive vetbs. The paper is of opinion that the root cause ofthis increase is attributed to the flexibility of transfer from one part of speech into another in Chinese grammar, the remote cause of this incra is ascribed to the influence of translation of foreign words, whichhas led to the Westernization of Chinese grammar, and the immediate cause of this increase is accreditedto the fact that funcitional departments and mass media in present-day information society are in favor ofshorter slogans, news titles and telescreen captions with the number of characters matched in two adjacentlines. Also, the paper quotes examples for the mass media in the bilingual and bidialectal society ofHong Kong to illustrate the usage situation there, and makes an analysis of other aspects of this tendency.
