道言与现代西方的语言美学

20世纪以来,随着西方哲学的语言学转向,道家的道言观与西方语言哲学的比较研究成为中外学者关注的热点之一。其实,人类的思想和智慧具有内在的相通性,无论是古代还是现代,西方还是东方,其文化及其语言的差异是巨大的,但人们所关注的问题,对终极存在的探求,从根本上是一致的。不同的民族是在不同的地域不同的时间,用不同的语言不同的方式,思考着同样的问题。先秦道家可以同现代西方哲学家在同等层次上进行对话,双方的思想和智慧也能够达到相互的汇通。在现代思想的维度上比较老、庄的道言观与西方现代的语言观,会给我们许多崭新的启示。

The Tao Language and the Language Aesthetics in Modern West

Since the 20~ th century, the comparison research on the Tao language of Taoism and the West language philosophy has become one of the focuses concerned by Chinese and foreign scholars along with the linguistic turn of the West philosophy. I believe that thoughts and wisdom of human beings can communicate with each other. Although the difference of culture and language are great between ancient times and modern times or between the West and the East, the research on ultimate existence are coincidental. Different nations think about the same question in different languages and different ways at different times and different places. Taoists in Pre-qin could talk with modern West philosophers at the coequal level and the thoughts and wisdom of both side could communicate with each other. Comparing the thought of Tao language of Laozi and Zhuangzi with the thought of language in modern West on the dimension of modern thoughts will bring many brand new apocalypses for us.
