新旧之变:民国时期成都话剧的兴起与市民的娱乐生活

摘    要:话剧是民国初年传入成都的新式娱乐之一,其在成都的发展经历了初兴、繁荣、沉寂几个阶段,市民对其态度也由隔膜排斥到热情追捧。然而,由于近代中国的激进化趋势,社会精英眼中的成都话剧却在短短的数十年中由代表西方先进文明,应大力提倡的新式娱乐,转换为令人醉生梦死,应严行禁止的旧式娱乐。这一现象从一个侧面展现了民国社会经历艰难曲折,逐步、缓慢的走向现代化的历史进程。

Abstract:The drama was introduced to Chengdu at the beginning of the Repubic of China as one of many modern entertainments.Chengdu drama developed through several stages,including emergence,prosperity as well as dreariness,during which the publics began pursuing it instead of repelling it at the beginning.However,due to the radical trend of the modern China,Chengdu drama has changed from a new entertainment,which should be advocated as a representation of modern western civilization,to an outdated one,which should be forbidden in only several years.This phenomenon indicated that the society of the Repubic of China underwent an endless hard time,before converted to a modern society.
