Comparison between University Names in the US and in China |

| Abstract: | The article compares the naming sources of Chinese and American universities and colleges,and analyzes the renaming characteristics of Chinese universities and colleges.It is indicated that the cultural factor should be responsible for renaming to some degree.In addition,concern is shown to English names for the renamed universities and colleges in China. |
