Application of Maslow Humanistic Theory in the Education of Students with Studying Deficiency in Institutes of Higher Education

Students with studying deficiency are behind others in academic achievements.Based on the analyses of these students＇ main psychological features,the paper is to put forwards the following ideas to optimize their education by applying Maslow＇s learning theory,demand arrangement theory and potentiality theory.First,the premise and basis of their education is to pay close attention to their feelings and show respect for them.Second,the most efficient way of educating them is to meet their interests＇ requirements.Last,it is the ultimate purpose to tap their potentials so that they can be well-educated.
