| 摘 要： | 近代美国来华传教士在中国积极从事教育活动,他们开办的教会学校把欧美先进的教育体制输入中国,其先进的办学方式、崭新的课程设置、高效率的管理机制,冲击了衰朽的中国传统教育制度,充分显示出先进文明的魅力。教会学校实际成为中国近代化学校教育的模版,并为中国培养了大批近代新型的知识分子,美国传教士对中国学校教育近代化的贡献是应该充分肯定的。

| Abstract: | Modern American missionaries actively involved themselves with educational activities in China.By launching a mission school system, they introduced to China the advanced Western educational system,which greatly challenged Chinese traditional educational system by its advanced school-running mode,fresh-new curriculum and efficient management.The mission schools educated a large number of modern intellectuals for China and became a model for modern Chinese school education.The contribution of American Missionaries to the modernization of Chinese school education deserves a positive evaluation. |
