A Probe into Empathic Intelligence and Its Roles in Education

Empathic intelligence is a complex concept.The paper tries to elaborate those aspects of inter-subjective and intra-subjective engagements that have influence on learning.It is a theory of relatedness,connected with person-centered situations and professional contexts like teaching and learning.It is a sustained system of psychic,cognitive,affective,social and ethical functioning.The aim of the study of empathic intelligence is to provide teachers and other educators with a conceptual frame to enhance their professional development,with its central argument being that,when educators can be attuned to their own thinking and emotional processes and imagine how others think,feel and use their sensitivity and imagination to create meaningful and energetic learning experiences,learning is effective.
