摘 要: | Rab蛋白家族是Ras超家族(包括ras,rho/rac,tab,arf以及ran五大类)中最大的家族,是一类小分子量GTP酶,分子量大都在20~25kDa之间,表达于从酵母、果蝇、小鼠到人类等各种真核生物中,调节细胞器之间的囊泡运输.其在酵母中称为YPT/SEC,在高等真核生物中称为Rab.到目前为止,已有近70多种人类Rab蛋白或Rab—like蛋白编码基因被克隆和鉴定,其中包括一些剪切体.

Abstract: | Rab proteins represent a large subfamily of the Ras superfamily which includes many kinds of GTP-binding proteins. The Rab proteins play key roles in the secretory and endocytic pathways in eukaryotic cells, and their weight range from 20 to 25kDa. Human cells contain nearly 70 Rabs and Rab-like proteins and each is believed to be specifically associated with a distinct membrane-bound compartment or pathway. |
