On Qiequ Vein

On the Zhou Dynasty's bronze wares, there is a kind of engraving vein decoration named Qiequ Vein, which are special in shapes. To their origin and categories, different scholars have different ideas. The author considered that Qiequ refered to a kind of monster in ancient books, which can be proved according the shape of vein decoration and relevant ancient books.
