| Abstract: | When he makes comments on poetry, Yi Tong-mu tends to select those which are influenced by the poet's noble character, and considers that a poem is the natural reflection of its author's talent, temperament, learning and practice. In the meantime, he pays much attention to the effect of the social setting upon the poem and to the social reality reflected by the poem. |
