Abstract:Learning strategies are steps taken by learners to enhance their own learning. This paper introduces features and classifications of learning strategies and discusses several aspects in using learning strategies in foreign languages teaching. It proposes that learning strategies can improve learning efficiency and make passive learners into active learners.
