试析形容词重叠式语法功能的突破与限制

从句法能力的突破、组合能力的限制和语序的突破与限制三个方面论述了形容词重叠式语法功能 ,认为其句法能力的突破主要表现为能够自由作多种句法成分并可以独立作分句 ;其组合能力的限制具体表现在形容词重叠式不能带后缀“着、了、过” ,不受否定副词“不”的修饰 ;语序上的突破与限制表现为形容词重叠式可以位于数量短语之前 ,也可以位于数量短语之后。

Breakthrough and Restrictions:the Grammatical Functions of Overlapped Adjectives

The grammatical functions of overlapped adjectives are discussed from the breakthrough of syntax, the restriction of combination as well as the breakthrough and restrictions of word order. The breakthrough of syntax refers to its flexible syntactic functions and its ability to serve as an independent clause. The restriction of combination means that overlapped adjectives cannot be used together with Chinese time markers, nor can they be modified by negative adverbs. In terms of the breakthrough and restriction of word order, they can be placed not only in front of but also behind phrases of numerals and classifiers.
