| Abstract: | Education must face modernization, face the world and the future." Deng Xiaoping's proposition well portrays him as a great statesman with a wide vision and clearly illustrates his notion that education must meet the needs of the times. To faithfully carry out his instructions, we should: 1) be creatively-minded with an enhanced awareness of the need for reform; 2) establish a nation-wide system of creativity-oriented education; 3) launch bold reforms; and 4) strengthen the Party's leadership. |
