文学作品中语码转换的可译性限度分析

文学作品中的语码转换是一种有标记的语言表达形式,具有特定的诗学效果,但其翻译历来是令译者头疼的难题。笔者从语码转换在文学语篇中的功能出发,分析了译者在翻译多种语码时遇到的障碍,以及各种翻译手段造成的形式与内容上的亏损,从而提出译者应正视翻译过程中的可译性限度问题,尽最大的努力再现文学语言的文化功能和美学功能。

On Limits of Translatability of Code-switched Utterances in Literature Works

Code switching is a kind of marked language which has a poetic effect in literature works.However,the translation of code-switched utterances is always a difficulty for translators.Based on analyses of the functions of code-switched utterances in literature works,the barriers translators encounter and the ineffectiveness of various translating methods,this paper reaches a conclusion that,although code-switched utterances in literature works are not fully translatable,translators should try their best to reproduce the cultural and aesthetic functions of literary language.
