唐代铁券制度的变异

铁券源于西汉,本是皇帝奖励臣下的重要手段。从魏晋开始,它被赋予了免死的功能。铁券制度在唐代继续发展,但它的功能却出现了变异,主要表现为不再以奖赏功臣为主要功能而更多变现为对割据势力的安抚。随着唐朝廷颁发铁券标准的降低,铁券在人们心目中的地位也迅速下降,结果直接消弱了铁券作用的发挥。
