The study of international relations theory and the development of the discipline of International Relations(IR) are increasingly attracting the attention of Chinese scholars of international studies.China has made rapid and great progress in recent years in this repect,which is of great significance to IR's future in China.Hedley Bull,as one of the most prestigious representatives of the English School,has some in-depth views on IR,which are still of great benefits to China's international studies today.This essay summarizes Bull's ideas on IR and tries to show their relevance and significance to China's current international studies.
