Evolution of national accounting has gone through a process of the practice of national income estimation to the system of national accounts(SNA) which is generally accepted as international standardization. This important change in economic statistics is closely related to the level of productivity, the production and development of macroeconomic theory and the choice of the administrative system for national economy. It is very important to make aware of this evolution and to think about that under the market economy how China’s national accounting to provide the chief economic basis and quantitative analysis for national macro-decision and administration.
