| 摘 要： | 《小说林》短篇小说的类型多样,在晚清期刊中具有短篇小说文体方面的典型特征,具体体现在作品的叙事模式、内容是否为横截面、情节结构和人物塑造、语言是文言还是白话等方面。从中不仅可以认识《小说林》短篇小说在文体革新上的依据及其与传统古代短篇小说不同的文体特征,其价值也值得重估。

| Abstract: | The styles of short stories in Journal Xiaoshuolin （ Forest of Novels） vary, typical in the features of short story styles for novel periodicals in late Qing dynasty. It can be explored in terms of the narrative pattern, the content organization （ if cross - sectional）, the plot structure and character setting, and the language choice （written in classical Chinese or modern Chinese）. From these aspects, its reasons of style transformation and its unique style features different from ancient classical short stories can be comprehended and revalued. |
