邓小平关于我国农业发展的若干理论探析

A Probe into Deng Xiaoping's Theories on China's Agricultural Development

Drawing on the experience and lessons from China's agricultural development since the fo- unding of the People' s Republic of China, Deng Xiaoping, an advocate and architect of China's rural reform, presented some theories on the agricultural reform and development, opening a road of socialist agriculture with Chinese characteristics and arousing the farmers' enthusiasm for production. Deng Xiaoping's exposition on the fundamental position of agriculture in economy, agricultural modernization and township enterprises, which are an essential part of the theory on building socialism with Chinese characteristics, gives rise to a theoretical domain with striking features. It is under the guide of Deng 's thoughts that China has achieved tremendous successes in agriculture and rural economy in the past twenty years' reform and development.
