谭嗣同、梁启超、章太炎与近代侠风

在近代“救亡”的背景下,清末知识精英掀起一股尚侠思潮。谭嗣同、梁启超、章太炎是这一思潮的代表人物。他们在鼓吹侠风的同时对侠的人格进行重新阐释,努力将侠改造成为国为民的英雄,使人们相信侠能够承担救亡图存的重任。在他们尚侠的背后,有着不同的价值取向:谭嗣同主要在于对墨侠实践精神的推崇;梁启超用侠来塑造“中国魂”;章太炎高扬侠风,则将之作为反清的思想武器。

Tan Sitong, Liang Qichao, Zhang Taiyan and the Modern Chivalrous Trend

Against the background of "Saving the Nation from Extinction",a thinking trend of advocating chivalry was raised by literary elites at the end of Qing Dynasty.Typical personalities of this thinking trend were Tan Sitong,Liang Qichao and Zhang Taiyan.They advocated chivalrous conducts and in the mean time they also gave new explanations to the personalities of a chivalrous person,trying to transform a chivalrous person into a hero devoted to the nation and the people,to persuade people that chivalrous persons could undertake the important task of saving the nation from extinction.Under their advocating of chivalry,there were different value orientations: Tan Sitong mainly advocating practical spirit of literary chivalry;Liang Qichao molding "Chinese Soul" by it;and Zhang Taiyan highly praising it and using it as a weapon in thoughts against the ruling government of Qing Dynasty.
