| 摘 要： | 1882年,朝鲜官员金允植受命出任领选使,率领一支包括三十八名朝鲜学徒和工匠在内的大规模使团来到中国天津,在天津机器制造局展开为期一年的军工制造技术学习活动。在津期间,他作为朝鲜的联络官员,与李鸿章等清朝大员就朝美缔约及朝鲜开港问题多次进行密谈,还亲眼目睹了当时中国机器制造工业的发展状况。其所著《领选日记》、《阴晴史》、《天津谈草》等文献,为这段历史留下了详尽的记载。本文在重新回顾和检讨这段历史的同时,还将侧重以从周边看中国的视角,关注和探讨两个问题:一是晚清政府对东亚局势的判断及应对,二是朝鲜使者眼中的清朝机器制造业发展实态。
