| Abstract: | The colleges and the universities cannot keep prosperity for a long time unless they are supported by the core competence. Based on the core competence, the higher education institutions can surpass rivals and put themselves in an advantageous position.This paper puts forward the methods of developing the core competence of higher education institutions by analyzing its definition, connotation and characteristics. |
