研究科技风险与公众认知的关系,有助于解决科技专家与公众对科技风险态度的矛盾、科技专家与其他专家对公众认知科技风险的态度的矛盾、公众的科技风险认知与信任之间的矛盾等问题。科技风险与公众认知的关系,可分为公众对科技风险的主观认知和科技风险对公众认知的客观影响两个方面,这是既相互区别又相互联系的两个过程。对科技风险与公众认知关系的全面研究应在综合上述两个过程的基础上进行理论分析,由此得出现实启示。

The Research of the Relationship between the Scientific & Technological Risks and Public Cognition

The research of the relationship between the scientific and technological risks and public cognition is helpful in solving problems such as the contradictory attitudes toward the risks from experts and the public,the contradictory attitudes toward public cognition of the risks,and the contradictions between the public cognition and trust on the risks.The relationship between the scientific and technological risks and public cognition includes two aspects: the public subjective cognition of the risks and the objective influence of the risks to public cognition,which are two processes differing from each other and interconnected as well.In order to comprehensively clarify the relationship between the risk and public cognition,a comprehensive theoretical analysis should be undertaken on the basis of the two processes above,and then works out the realistic revelation of the research on relationship between the scientific and technological risk and public cognition.
