The Study of Relevance-Theoretic Translation Theory:Retrospect and Prospect

Relevance theory,as a cognitive theory,is the basis of Cognitive Pragmatics.It has been receiving much attention of scholars abroad and at home,since the theory came out.Translation is one of the most influenced fields by the theory.The paper through the introduction about the studies of Relevance Theory in China and the effect and the application to translation,aims to approve the development of Relevance Theory in China and abroad is still in the ascendant and its value is getting recognized by more and more scholars.
