In the aesthetic system of Hegel, natural beauty stands as a lower basic condition of artistic beauty, which is the sensible appearance of idea since it rarely gets vigor perfusion. The natural beauty of Hegel includes natural substances, organism of human and direct as well as practical existence of social life. Idea, as the absolute spirit, can only exist superficially on the surface of certain natural substances. To most natural beings, idea does not appear in the interdependency of the vigor perfusion in the accordant concept of the natural phenomena, and in social affairs, human being to whom idea clings does not show the independent and integrated life and freedom. That's why its beauty is low and limited, thus, when applied to all natural forms and social existence, it is to give criticism and denial to the whole dull prose of human existence. The theory of natural beauty by Hegel is not only the theory of beauty but also that of social reality criticism.
