历史时间的发生及其命运——历史观念的人类学考察

任何时间制度总是包含着两种自相矛盾的属性,即循环重复的时间观念和不可逆转的线性时间观念,而一切文化自然也提供了对这一矛盾现象的解决方式。在神话时期,神话思维对死亡现象的否定中已经隐含了神圣时间对线性时间的克服,在"祛除巫魅"的理性化进程中,线性时间观念和循环时间观念之间的矛盾开始显现出来。不过就中国思想史而言,线性时间从来就不曾占据过绝对的优势,"历史循环论"在中国思想史上的优势地位正好说明了这一点。

It is inevitable that there always exists self-contractory between the cyclic time-institution and the linear one embodied in the time-institution all of cultures, and it is affirmative that every culture must provides a kind of solve to the self-contractory .In the mythical thought, the mythological time triumph over the profane by denying death. Thorough the rationalization, the conflict between the cyclic time-institution and the linear one had being run through the history of thought, although in the Chinese thought, it is clear that the linear-institution had never hold any advantage on the cyclic ones in that the historicism had been taken an overwhelming superiority.
