The Written Rebellion: Questioning "Nora Spirit"

As the symbol of the awareness and the spirit of rebellion against feudal ethics during the May Fourth Period,Nora entered into the context of Chinese culture.But a latent spirit variance occurred, which demonstrated the crack in the liberation of women.When Nora rebelled against her husband,she took equality between the sexes as her support point.In order to achieve her stand alone,Nora discarded the dependent love.But Chinese Nora's rebellion returned to daughters against fathers,and furthermore they combined to a confederation with their husbands by pursuing free love.From the determined daughter Nora to the weak wife Nora,they showed the traditional concept.The self-writing by those awakened women of the May Fourth,however,showed the estrangement from the main trend of thought.
