英汉经济语篇中“模糊限制语”的语用功能在跨文化交际中的作用及其比较

模糊限制语是一种常见的语言现象，在跨文化交际中它发挥着重要的语用功能，尤其在经济领域中，模糊用语显得更为重要，因为所有的现象乃至数据都是时刻变幻莫测的，即使再专业的经济学家也不可能做到十分精准的预测。因此，本研究将以中英文经济评论类语篇为研究对象，探讨英汉经济类语篇的模糊限制语的使用方式，研究其在跨文化交际中的作用以及比较其语用功能。

Pragmatic Functions of Hedging of Chinese-English Economic Articles in the Roles of Cross-cultural Communication and their Comparison

Hedging is a common language phenomenon. It plays an important pragmatic role in the cross-cultural communication. Especially in the economic field, hedging becomes more important, because all the situations and statistics are changeable at any time and even the most professional economist can not precisely predict what will happen. This paper, based on the Chinese-English economic articles, explores the hedging devices used in Chinese-English economic writings, studies the roles of hedging in the cross-cultural communication and compares theirs differences. This research will help Chinese readers to clearly understand those implied viewpoints when they read economic articles written by foreign economists and to be clearly aware of the trend of the other countries＇ economic development.
