The Sacred Knowledge and the History and Intellectual Effect of Desacralization

The aim of the present paper is to interpret the chapter one of S.H.Nasr's Knowledge and the Sacred,namely Knowledge and its Desacralization.Firstly,it expounds the Sacred character of Knowledge and its manifestation in all major religion tradition.Secondly,with the help of Nasr's train of thought,it remounts to the process of desacralization of knowledge in west.The last part describes the intellectual effects brought with the process of desacralization.
