“金砖国家”经贸合作面临的机遇和挑战

为了克服传统的基于显性比较优势指数的非对称性缺陷，本文基于对称性显性比较优势指数构建了对称性相对贸易优势指数，根据该指数确定了金砖国家各自的优势产业和劣势产业，进而确定金砖国家相互间具有高贸易增长潜力的行业。为了进一步准确地衡量金砖国家间的贸易竞争和互补状况，本文基于对称性显性比较优势指数构建了“对称性贸易互补性指数”和“对称性贸易竞争性指数”，利用这两个指数从细分的产业层面研究确定了金砖国家内部任意两国之间竞争（或互补）的广度和深度。最后根据实证研究结论提出了深化金砖国家合作的对策建议。

Opportunities and Challenges Faced by the Cooperation of BRICS

This paper constructs a new index named Relative Symmetric Trade Advantage Index(RSTA) using Revealed Symmetric Comparative Advantage Index in stead of the traditional Revealed Comparative Advantage Index,then specifies the competitive industries and the disadvantage industries in BRICS member countries using the RSTA,furthermore affirms the high growth potential trading products among the BRICS.In order to measure trade competition and trade complementarity on the product level,this paper constructs two new indices: Symmetric Trade Competition Index and Symmetric Trade Complementarity Index.At the end of the paper several policy advices are proposed according to the empirical results.
