Abstract: | Today comparative literature is one of the most vigorous scientific approachs of world litera ture studies, yet observations and conclusions based on the material from the general literature of one nation, even based on that from the Chinese general literature, can't be considered as univer Sal. With its own characteristics, each literature has made its own contributions to the general lit erature and thus is important to the significant principles occurring in a series of methods, such as connotations, characteristics, principles, propositions and common aesthetic grounds. Though these principles have different national features, they have taken an important position on the way to general literature. |
