| Abstract: | As a serious scholar with rich sense of mission,Ulrich Weisstein showed his excellent academic intelligence while facing the changing theory boom in the 20 th century. He constructed and regulated the theory of comparative literature focusing on the double dimension of language and literature which was based on their intertextuality. The dynamic and open paradigm on comparative literature established by Weisstein still has its important value today. |
