| Abstract: | Great House by Nicole Krauss,a rising star in the American literature,has received very positive reviews from readers.With the post-modernism historical narrative skills,the novel describes a Jewish root-seeking process. With this theme,Great House provokingly let the later generations know the importance of facing and reflecting on history. The paper tentatively analyzes the post-modernism historical narrative mode of this novel from three perspectives,including plot construction,tropics of discourse,and multiple narrative structures. |
