动态外部性与城市经济增长——基于中国地级单位面板数据的研究

摘    要:利用2003-2008年中国284个地级单位面板数据,对城市产业结构、动态外部性(MAR溢出、Jacobs溢出)与城市经济增长的关系进行的实证研究结果显示:在全国样本范围内,专业化水平与经济增长之间存在显著的非线性关系,结合我国城市专业化水平现状分析,MAR溢出更为显著;在分地区分规模城市中,不同类型城市的专业化水平与知识溢出和经济增长的关系不同,其中东部和中部大城市表现出显著的非线性关系,东部中小城市和西部大城市支持MAR溢出,中部和西部中小城市的产业结构与知识溢出的关系并不显著。

Abstract:Based on the Chinese urban panel data of 284 cities between 2003 and 2008,this paper probes into the relativity of dynamic externality(include MAR and Jacobs spillovers) and growth in cities.An empirical study reveals that there exists a nonlinear relativity between the level of specialization and the urban growth within the nation-wide samples;and if taken into consideration the status quo of the level of specialization in our country,the effect of MAR spillovers is more evident.However,with differentiation of regions and in scales of cities,differences are observed in the relativity between the cities with different levels of specialization and spillovers of knowledge,among which,the data from the eastern and central metropolitans manifest a remarkable nonlinear relationship,while those from medium sized and small cities in the eastern regions and big cities in the West positive of MAR spillovers,and those from medium-sized and small cities in the central and western regions demonstrate something less evident.
