Contentions and Meditations of GE Crop Technology in China

China has got great achievements of research for GE crop technology.While two fierce debates have been launched in China in terms of supporting or opposing GE crop technology due to the different views of value.In terms of democratization of technology,there is a need of balance between the protection of freedom for scientific exploration,and the democratic supervision rights of masses.In terms of management,the effectiveness of national policies and government regulations must be brought into play so as to establish the platform and the mechanism of communication and dialogue between different viewpoints.In terms of education,there is a need to enhance science popularity among masses while dealing with the ethics challenge as the characteristic of new technology.In terms of national development strategy,the integrity of the ecological value of technology and social safety can be guaranteed by establishing a long-term development strategy of the GE crop technology.
