方苞与颜李学派

方苞既是文士,又是经师,但他更看重后者,故以程、朱之学自命。他对于当时的颜李之学,既有兼容并包的一面,也有诋毁卫道的一面。他对清初汉学家多有不满,汉学与宋学之交恶,实肇始于方苞。

Fang Bao is not only a literati,but also a scholar of Confucian classics.Between them,Fang prefers the latter.Fang considers himself to be a exponent og Cheng Yi,Cheng Hao and Zhu Xi's school of thought,which is also called Song Xue(Song School of thought).Yan Yuan and Li Gong's school of thought belongs to Han Xue(Hang school of thought).As we all know,Han Xue and Song Xue are two different schools of thought.Although Fang incorporates Yan Yuan and Li Gong's theory in some areas,but he slanders Yan and Li's theory in more areas.Fang also critics other Han schools of thought of early Qing Dynasty.Fang start the controversy between Han Xue and Song Xue;
