| Abstract: | ShiTuo and KeLing successfully adapted Gorky's The Lower Depths to A Night Hotel,and the adaptation displays as four aspects:1,recomposition of the theme-the change from hope to wilderness of the human nature; 2,the change from juxtaposition and crossing to concentration and belocking of the narrative structure; 3,the changes of the characters; 4,the changes that has adapted well to Chinese culture and conventions. |
